I have no idea

So I think I angered the reef gods or dbought the same size tank and id something I have no idea here. So I built an all in one tank with a foam wall that I didnt epoxy well I guess and the foam started to break down an poion the tank so I purchased another 20l built a sump and used an overflow box and set the tank up again. I did a 100% water change and everything did a 180 and was looking great. i got rid of the little bryopsis I had and things were looking great. i havent added anything in months fish or coral. i started noticing brown stringy stuff on my sand and rocks. So i ordered some stuff from reefcleaners and it helped a little. This stuff isnt wide spread thats whats confusing me is on the sand and its on my rocks and some cxorals stopping my zoas and softies and my frog spawn and hammer from openning. Now whats even wierder it only seams to be affecting the side of the tank that has the dry rock I used when I set the tank back up. And is not affecting any SPS what so ever. Another I'll try to post some pictures in a bit. i just dont know what to do I cant afford to loose anymore coral the frags I have now are whats left from my stupid mistake not epoxying my rock wall right. I love this hobby but cant afford any more crashes. the first was a stupid heater malfunction that i was never reinbursed for (stealth) they wanted receipts for my coral purchases. Nyone here keep recepts? then the wall and now this please any ideas would be a great help. I did just start dosing 2.5 ml of peroxide to the tank today. THANKS

they are ok

need a standing back shot to see the scope of the infestation. full tank shot. it doesn't look bad. ive had that growth (?) before on some yellow parazoanthus polyps I just kept siphoning it out at water change time. repeatedly

I would cut my siphon hose tip at a sharp up angle where it had a point and then a suction inlet. that was my pry/poke tool, and the siphon would rip that growth right out. this is a better method currently than systemic peroxide addition which may damage sensitive animals and is a last resort only for highly infected tanks.

this growth just needs to be continuously removed in successive small water changes and further action can be taken if that doesn't stop. its certainly the safest recourse
