reeftankguy
Dallas? Too bad I’m in Scottsdale or you could come see what a tank that doesn’t need a tank sitter looks like. I’ve been here all week. I’ve been gone 2 weeks before with no sitter and no feedings. I will say that when I get back all I have to do is clean the glass, feed it and refill my ATO reservoir… My tank is self-sufficient :priceless.gif: Quote Link to comment

Weetabix7
Mum: oh, does it have feelings? :priceless: Also, the white things she saw may well have been feeder tentacles if it was at night, which would be totally normal and healthy behaviour for a Brain Coral. Quote Link to comment

Kat: ya. So what is happening in the tank? TS: Nothing it seems fine Kat: okay can you open the cabinet and check the reservoir water level? TS: Okay...... yes it is very low, like maybe and inch left Kat: (thinks WTF!) oh wow, okay that needs to be filled up TS: With distilled water right? Kat: (feeling pleased TS is learning a thing or two) yes! but slide it out slowly as there is a pipe plumbed into it, just fill it a few inches and it should be fine TS: alright, I'll call you if that doesn;t fix it. Kat: you know this is going on your fan thread right? TS: pfft 1 Quote Link to comment
