Gvtv44
Doing some research, and also thought it would be interesting where the majority of purchases are made. Why you shop where you do may also be interesting! Thanks! Gvtv44 Link to comment
StevieT
I shop at inTank, I go in the warehouse, take what I need and adjust out inventory. Link to comment

StevieT
lol thanks. It has it's convince but it's not like it's totally free. Link to comment
altolamprologus
I mostly shop at LFS's. I have about a dozen within a 30 minute drive so at least one will usually have what I'm looking for. But I will shop online for other things. InTank, reefcleaners, and theshrimpfarm are the ones I go to. Link to comment
Kazooie
Homedepot for what I can, other reefers for everything else usually. Link to comment
Swanwillow
Bulk Reef Supply. My friend. And I shoulda taken stocks out on them before I started buying things for my tank Link to comment
yoshii
LFS, unless I have to order it online Don't have to wait, don't have to pay shipping, and you get (hopefully) good customer service as a bonus Link to comment
Gvtv44
Many more at their LFS than I thought! Is BRS publicly traded? Link to comment
tam
N-R Classifieds, RC classifieds, Craigslist, BAreefers classifieds. I find that most of the things I would need at the LFS are over priced and I'm never in a rush. Hardware items would come from the cheapest (incl. shipping) trusted vendor, so there is no go-to for me. Link to comment
iDream
LFS because I like giving them my business, if not them then where ever has whatever I need cheapest. Link to comment
StevieT
I was at a few LFS's this weekend. A koralia 750 for $70, good luck with that one Link to comment
jbowen21
I live about an hour away from That Fish Place in Lancaster, PA. I go there about 4 times a year to stock up. I usually get my livestock from fellow reefers. Link to comment
fewskillz
Usually Foster&Smith. Tough to beat $8 flat-rate shipping. I've ordered quite a bit from Marine Depot as well. My 2 LFS' are about worthless, especially for dry goods. Link to comment
AZDesertRat
I always give my LFS first shot at any purchases before jumping online. They have surprised me many times, especially when I was still using fluorescent bulbs. Their prices were almost identical to the online sources when shipping was added in. My first choice online is www.customaquatic.com. They are in the San Diego area and normal shipping is often next day to Phoenix if I order early in the day. Rarely more than two days. Next would be the Drs. Link to comment
wankreas
WHen I lived in the States, I used to order form the DRs (mostly 'cause their catalogues are so...glossy), but now that I am back in Canada, I get most of my supplies from MOPS (http://www.aquariumsupplies.ca/). If I need something in a rush, I will go to the Big Al's beside my work Link to comment
Ezsharkman
i only buy dry goods from a LFS if its a freaking emergency. too much $$$$$ I Mostly is use MD and Dr F & S., but I have also ordered from TB Aquatics with great results and prices from all. My Birthday is in 2 weeks and i told my family Marine Depot gift cards is all i want. =) MP10 here i come! Link to comment
