Squared
Haha Do you see why I hate the Aquasun! It's so pink/purple! (My old light is on the tank right now btw, 1xAquasun, 1xSuper Actinic) hmm. didn't notice that. Link to comment

yoshii
nah, im good. ...pics NOW I took a pic but it's dirty right now, I'll try to clean it up and take pics tomorrow Probably a good idea. It is nice to have a light mounted, I know the feeling. I also plan to hang it by 4 points, instead of just two (for more stability) I always wondered what might happen to an aquarium during a bigger earthquake http://www.advancedaquarist.com/blog/7.3-e...gallon-aquarium But I'm going to try to figure out a way to secure the tank in a way that doesn't look too ugly Link to comment

yoshii
yoshii, any idea on what kind of fish your going to put in there? Mocha Clown Pair and Schooling Bannerfish (see sig) are the three that will be moving back in, as far as new fish, I would love to get a Blue Jaw Tilefish and Red Saddled Anthias, unfortunately they are both rare, expensive and may both have decompression issues But besides those, I would really like either a single female Lyretail Anthias or a trio of a smaller (more peaceful) species. Other random fish I'm thinking about -Geometric Hawkfish (Perchlet) -Black Cap Basslet -Cherub Angel or Coral Beauty (if-y about these guys) -Red Head Solomon Wrasse -Trimma gobies -Yellow Stripe Neon Gobies -Pearly Jawfish -Trained Mandarin I like making up lists of fish I like Nice job on the rehab Yoshii. Thanks I am glad I don't have to worry about that here Yeah, well the only thing I'm worried about is the big quake that we're due for.. I like the small ones tho (we had two yesterday ) Link to comment

yoshii
nice list you got there +1 on that mandarin, awesome fish. I'm sure I add to it plenty when I review gobies and blennies! They are very awesome I used to have a trained one in my 10g (which would be moved into here as he grew) but sadly he jumped out when I was on vacation This tank I'm making sure has a nice and secure lid/screen Link to comment

iDream
Ok I'm picking bulbs now, so far I'm thinking2x UVL Super Actinic 1x ATI Aquablue (may just do 3 Super Actinics instead) 1x UVL Actinic White (?)1x GE 6500k Daylight (really not sure about this one, but idk what to replace it with) Opinions? Suggestions? OHHHH, now I'm thinking my friend got a mislabeled bulb.. He got a UVL Super Actinic and it was pink.. Looking online its one of the dark blue bulbs. Maybe swap out 1 super actinic for a Blue plus, or 2 if you're gonna do 3 super actinics Love the choice of the 6500K too Link to comment

I've already got the basic structure planned, but you'll have to wait to see if there's any arches OHHHH, now I'm thinking my friend got a mislabeled bulb.. I really don't like the "gentle and wide" flow, but idk what other pumps I would get (other ones with better flow are too bulky) I wonder if I can ask my dad to pay half for an MP40.... Oh I need to buy a overflow & pump too gah I need more money Lol nevermind just checked the price, I thought it was only like $400 Link to comment
yoshii
New LR, 3 pieces take up a 5g bucket The biggest piece-eggcrate for scale I think it's pretty cool Again, this is not the scape, I just threw them in there until I can scape it all Ew purple Yes, I got Aquasun even though I hate it cause I don't want two 6500k bulbs, Aquasun is the nest closest to "10k" Link to comment
altolamprologus
Yoshii wanted me to "Post about how great my tank is and how awesome I am " so here it is: Yoshii's tank is great and she is awesome. Fixed. well it was breakfast for me, but I had it at a later time Anyways, do you guys think I should stick with a 300gph overflow or maybe switch to a 500gph or something It will just cost more and I'll need a bigger pump too Link to comment
