Durbelethwen
I have been musing for a while about getting a new shrimp for my six gallon. I had three sexy shrimp and a cleaner shrimp in the tank, but they died after a tank crash a few months ago. Since then I have added a tail spot blenny with my black and white clown goby. The other mobile animals in my tank are a hitchhiked algae eating crab, and five snails. Due to the two fish I am worried about the amount of living space as well as bioload. Thank you for your thoughts. An interesting aside about the crab: When the crab first came it was an itty bitty thing that one could hardly see so I just let him live in my candy cane coral. I bought the tail spot blenny because I needed something that would eat the hair algae that the snails were ignoring. The crab has cleaned it all up and the blenny only picks at eat, seeming to prefer the food I give the goby. Link to comment
calabdiver
If your doing weekly water changes then you have very little to worry about as far as bio load. I'd say go with another cleaner or a fire shrimp as they seem to be on the smaller end also the shrimp are beneficial it will aide in eating unwanted stuff. Link to comment
