Whether or not you like me, that's cool, but Polaroid wasn't "HIPSTER" at the time. Everyone and I mean everyone used a Polaroid camera. I Normally use my Canon AE-1 but I wanted to pick up something just for fun. I get bored playing around photoshop etc, that's why I started the thread to see if anyone else had caught on again. BS your opinions all you'd like, I think instant film is great.

I doubt you were around in the 70s... It's not nostalgia if your parents were still 8 years old and you weren't even a distant dream.

It's definitely "HIPSTER" now.

Actually being born in 92' I have a fond memory of them. They stopped production of the film in 2008 if I can recall, and I do remember my grandparents and parents having Spectra's at the time. Cool stuff. :P

Anyways I stumbled upon a dental industry polaroid called the 600 Dine, pretty neat if anyone was interested in giving it a try for Macro. Supposedly Polaroid made tons of cameras for a whole bunch of stuff, so I am curious as to how well the macro looks.

Oh I got it. I just felt the correlation you were making was a stretch. It was almost funny, but not funny enough to acknowledge.

I would love to shoot some Polariods now, but it's just too difficult to justify the price. $22 + shipping for 8 exposures? :(

I've actually been reading around online that it should slowly start to get cheaper, but the demand isn't quite there yet! I'll post pictures with the new film once my camera arrives! I do like that the company is also offering a dry age kit that makes your photos last a lifetime.

fuji instax?

Hipsters don't exist. It's just a pejorative used to describe anybody not like that is not the describer. I wish people would just stop using the label. It's just an empty and lazy excuse for hate.

+100

And I am not too big on the fuji instax but then again I don't really have any experience with them. I wish the camera models were a little more attractive as well but its still instant film none the less! I need to see if I can find some cool pictures that people have taken with them.

Oh they exist all right. I found one at my sister-in-law's wedding a couple of weekends ago. Hipster glasses, "vintage" dress, self cut hair.

Besides, I don't think anyone actually hates hipsters. It's more like pity :P
