i tried to google if its true but couldn't find an answer that is near close to my question.

is this possible to do because a friend of mine might have a driver that i could buy for very cheap and i can probably get my hands on a bluebox mp10 for like $110 or so.

so why waste the extra money if this is possible.

They sell an upgrade kit. Yes you can upgrade by using any white driver box by switching the wire. There are detailed instructions on the ecotech website

You can upgrade a standard "blue box" MP10 to an MP10ES or MP10W ES.

 

MP10 -> MP10ES = $55

MP10 -> MP10 W ES = $85

MP10 ES -> MP10W ES = $45
