iball1804 Posted October 14, 2011 Share Posted October 14, 2011 Only GE I Silicone Windows/Doors is suitable for aquariums. GE I Bathroom and all GE II's are non-suitable for aquariums usage. I learned the hard way with GE II. I made a tank, set it up, only to find that the silicone would leach poisonous chemicals slowly into my tank. Just make sure to research whatever your do. hooligan_78 Posted October 18, 2011 Share Posted October 18, 2011 Be sure to check with MFG. RTV 103 is best. All silicone tubes I've read say "not for use underwater", this way the absolve themselves of any liability of the bond breaks. Link to comment
