larsb
OK I keep the questions coming since no-one throws me out. I've got an 11g tank. I bought the Tunze 6055 with the flow controller 7091. Have I over-worked it? Maybe I can make the rotor somewhat smaller to lower the flow? /Lars Link to comment
Aquanist
I had 6055 in 8 gallon cube. I don't think you're overdoing it at all. You cant run it at 100% for sure, but it's nice to know you COULD go higher.. Way higher actually.. Try having it on short pulse between 30 and 60%. Have you got the tunze light cell (to slow it down to steady 30% at night)? Link to comment
larsb
Ok, great to know. No I don't have the Tunze light cell. What is that? OK I'm just darn right slow. I got it it's a photo-cell that will ut the controller to the low-value. Right? Link to comment
Aquanist
It just detects when lights are out and turns off the pulse mode and keeps the minimum of 30% through the night. Not necessary, asked just out of curiosity. Link to comment
