mbarton2010
shrimps are ddoing great. the plants are getting this kinda algae on on them. looks kinda like slime/green stuff. the plants are growing like crazy though! need a little trim then pics! Link to comment
.Newman.
be aware that trimming healthy plants will slow their growth and will allow algae to flourish. so just trim algae infested leaves/dying leaves. algae sounds like cyano. I'm excited about your shrimp being really red. mines are doing good. the babies should be grown to juveniles and be ready to trade within one month hopefully yours will breed by then. Cintax
I love planted tanks with CRS. They are so fun to watch, also don't worry about the one dying, they reproduce like crazy. Link to comment
mbarton2010
from what ive read, the algae is a mutant strain of diatoms. should go away with reg WC and a few weeks Link to comment

.Newman.
looks like you pretty much solved that DW issue. it looks like it belongs now. the scape is starting to look better. i can see this 3-4 months from now, with proper trimming replanting and placement it can look VERY nice!
