Cwhite
Hey everyone I have had two coralife timer stripts, both ~$50...the first one worked great but suffered an untimely death when I got water on it...our newer one does not work AT ALL...just wondering what everyone else uses for timers I have the return pump from the sump, three powerheads, the heater, and the skimmer, that need to stay on all the time...and the two T5s and one MH that need to come on individually. I know a lot of people use the light timers from wal mart or whatever..but I dont have enough space to do this with only two outlets (since they have only one plug a piece)...and am hesitant to buy another coralife timer that is expensive and may not work....unless people are plugging timers into plug-in strips? Which I thought wasn't safe? But maybe it is OK? Anyway, I would love everyone's input Thanks Christina Link to comment

lakshwadeep
I like the normal timers from Intermatic. You can find them in any hardware store. +1 to using them with a surge protector (note that some are bulky and may take up multiple outlet spots). Link to comment
wolfador
I used one of these : http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/prod...fm?pcatid=11379 The single digital one for my lights. You might want to look into a controller though. Link to comment
sanchez
I just use the cheapos from home depot on a surge protector. Goin almost 2 years strong with no issues whatsoever! Link to comment
