Lnm130
Is one par30 enough? I know it lights the tank well enough, but that doesn't tell me the whole story. I've only got mini/maxi nems in there and I think they are getting pounded with me using two...I am using DIY fixtures so the bulbs are about 14in off the water. Link to comment
gabe3eb
I'm going to say that you want a bit more light than just one of these. You will have coverage OR intensity issues depending how you plan to make this work. Check out my tank, its 12g, but similar dimensions and footprint and I'm using 2 PAR30s. Link to comment
Lnm130
That's what I figured. I just feel like it may be too much light on the nems. One centered over the tank looks ok but what looks ok and what is ok are two different things. It was worth a shot I suppose. Link to comment
