SophieBee
Hello! Here's my *official* tank thread! This is my first saltwater tank, but I've also kept freshwater for a long time (still have a few planted tanks!) so I'm not all that new to the hobby. Specs: -10 gallon AGA tank -HOB skimmer -Aquaclear 70 (mod refugium) -50W heater -Koralia 240 powerhead -2 24watt t5 lighting (10,000K and actinic) Livestock: -2 pom pom crabs (pair) -1 small fighting conch -3 hermit crabs -6? nassarius snails -1 nerite snail -1 astrea snail (used to have more snails but they've died over time :/ ) Corals: -duncan -blue mushrooms -zooanthids -ricordeas -green cloves -blue daisies Fish: no fish yet I've been struggling with a bad algae problem (cyano and bryopsis) so maybe once I get that under control... FTS 9/22/11 Left side Side view Thanks for looking! Link to comment

JoelRHale
My Yuma has split 3 new babies in about a month, give them the right condition and care and they will cover that rock very quickly. Link to comment
SophieBee
More pics! (excuse the ####ty quality, all I have is my phone camera...) poor girl crab lost her nems she's surprisingly out more than the male though, who still has one...weirdos! haha The new zoas I got last week. I love them, they're so neon and trippy looking! This pic really doesn't do them justice. Blue zoas, also much cooler looking in person! You can see the cyano starting to take over my sand..so annoying! I know it's my fault for being lazy with water changes...I've been working on it though! It's already gone down a lot in the past couple weeks. Link to comment
SophieBee
Updates! Here's the most recent FTS: Not a whole lot different, but the cyano has gone down! I added some more sand which I think has helped and I've been doing more frequent water changes...still a lot of bryopsis though. My new orange ric: And just for fun, here's a shot of both the tanks (mine on the right, my bf's on the left...yes we're both fish geeks haha) Link to comment
