NanoTeen Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 well today i noticed that the silicone on the inside around the bottom of the tank is a yellow brownish color im pretty sure its not algae, also i was able pull back some of it off the wall. but it doesn't come off. Looks like i might have to Take this tank down -___- Link to comment

"The silicone has not been compromised. There is a semi rare bacteria in water that will feed on the black dye in the silicone. It does not harm the silicone seal in any way. This bacteria generally lives below the substrate line or right at it." Link to comment
