TONK-CATCHER
Hello all, I'm hoping someone may be able to verify what this worm in my tank is. I think its a bristle worm, but i'm not sure. It was about triple the diameter of a #2 pencil lead, kinda pinkish in color, had alot of white hair and had a round body and a flattened head. I saw it poking its head out of a piece of my liverock and as soon as i stood up to retrieve a weapon to kill the beast it retracted into its hole, quickly....So any ideas..Thanks for your time.. Physh1
Sounds like a bristle to me but I wouldn't worry about killing it. They are quite beneficial to reefs. If you really want to get a good look at him the night time when the lights have been off a while is your best chance. The only time I'd remove one is if it got to be enormous.... NanoAmyDee
what would be considered enormous? I have one that scares the hell out of me with its size. It is as fat as a piece of spaghetti and about as long too. is that too big? Link to comment
