Lighting cycle

Hello,

I'm trying to find a timer that will provide dawn, day, dusk and night time cycles. I was going to buy one:

[Current USA TrueLumen 10 Inch 4 x 12,000K Aquatic LED Strip]

Current USA TrueLumen 10 Inch 2 x 12K / 2 x 453nm Aquatic LED Strip

[Current USA TrueLumen 453nm Lunar Blue 3-LED Linking Module]

I would need the timer to turn the lights on at specific times and turn the light off at specific times. Does anyone have any experience with a timer that can turn the lights on and off at specific times?

The Tru Lumen product are linkable, meaning they will be ran in series, of of one power supply. The link above has a basic analog day/night configuration that you are looking for. There are other variations, including digital. If you are just starting out I would suggest it. When you have more experience you can go with automated controllers which can do much more.

All I use is a regular 24hr timer from wal-mart. They cost round 5 dollars or so ea. I have two ,one for the blues and one for the whites. Works great. Just get a power strip plus the two or three timers a you set.
