Fern
I was cleaning the algae off my tank and my clown came up and bit me which made me jump and I got a tiny cut on my finger. I didnt see any blood in the tank but when I pulled my hand out I noticed I was bleeding so will any harm come from even a small amount of my blood being in the tank? Link to comment

xxbrianxx
I'd be more worried about getting an infection if I were you. Link to comment

Fern
Thanks, the fish make me jump everytime. I can't put my hand in the tank anymore without my female clown trying to get me out any way possible. It's a pretty small cut and my tank is fairly new, so I'll keep a look out for it to get infected, but I was more worried about the tank. Thanks again. Link to comment
sstuckey
My clown used to tag me all the time. Even pull my arm hair. I put on blue powder free nitrile gloves, you know from Walgreens/CVS/drugstore. The clown won't come near me. Bare hand, he's all over it, gloves he leaves alone. It's worth a try. I tried the "train a cat/dog/whatever" trick and flicked him in the nose when he bit. As if I'm saying "NO NO NEMO, You don't bite!" It's then I realized this fish was not your ordinary pet... Now it's the cleaner shrimp, as soon as my arm hits the water he starts pulling hairs out. Hurts like hell Link to comment
