MH question for 48" tank (33L)

So I'm planning to upgrade to a 33L (48x12x12) or a similar tank that is a bit wider (48x18x12) sometime in the next few months. T5 would be easy enough, of course... but I'm also wondering about MH, specifically the fishneedit 70w or 150 pendants... so a couple of questions:

 

1. How many bulbs would I need to light a 48" tank? Is two enough?

 

2. Would 70w MH bulbs be sufficient for a 12" deep tank, or would 150w be better (I want to keep a little bit of everything).

 

3. Should I just stick with T5s?
