jestep
MJ900 or MJ1200 depending on how much flow you need. The 1200 produces substantially more heat than the 900, so if you are having temp problems I would probably go with the 900. Also, I would take the pump out and clean it really well and soak it in vinegar for overnight if you can. A lot of the time there is just built up calcium or other crud that's stopping it from working properly. Link to comment
Rocket
Agreed. with Jestep The heat from the pumps is not substantial for 24 gallons of water. Unless you have huge heat problems either pump will be fine. 230 GPH mj900 10.5 watts 295 GPH mj1200 20 watts What is the stock pump rating for your nano cube? I r un a mj1200 for my aquapod 24 Link to comment

Rocket
You may have to modify the plumbing a tad. The mj's are simple pumps. One inlet on the "side" and a rotating outlet 90 degrees from the inlet. How does your stock return pump attach? Hose with a clip? The diameter is about the only thing that may give you a tiny problem. Link to comment
jestep
I think the 24 uses the same accela pump as the 28. If that's the case, a 900 or 1200 should drop in without problem. You just may need to adjust the direction of the return nozzle. Link to comment
