dlogfx
So I'm trying to go for a very simple look as far as equipment and really clean layout/placement for my corals. I'm still kinda new at this saltwater stuff (this being my 2nd 3rd tank) so suggestions are welcome. dlogfx
Day 1 Some pictures of the build, mostly the lighting fixture. I wasn't really planning on making a journal so don't have any pictures of the stand build. Final Product: Stand & Lighting Fixture The old 10g tank soon to be my new sump Link to comment

dlogfx
Nice job with the light. Thanks. Lots of work but well worth it. Beautiful coraline, awesome setup! Wish I could take full credit for this but the truth is that my cameras white balance had alot to do with the coraline looking so intense. In person it's not so noticeable. Link to comment

I tried looking for the goby that you were talking about the other day but they didn't have any at Neptunes. Link to comment
dlogfx
I wanted to get more of a 20k look so I modded 2 of my GU10. This is what my LED layout looks now. Link to comment
sogreedy23
Really nice and clean set up, I like it a lot! Nice and simple equipment wise. Are you relying on your canister for your tank's flow right now? How many GPH does it pump out? What are your coral stocking plans? If you couldn't tell already, I really like the cleanliness of it and am interested in the direction this is going. Also subscribed . Link to comment

I'm looking forward to see what you do for your tank.. Yeah the canister (about 260gph) is what I use for flow at the moment but I will be receiving a EcoTech MP10es early next week; I'm really exited about that. For the corals I really don't have a set plan. I will for sure get some zoas, acnas and whatever else catches my eye. Link to comment
dlogfx
Looks good dude. Add some more coral lol. I tried looking for the goby that you were talking about the other day but they didn't have any at Neptunes. Over the weekend I added quite a few corals. I got another acan, green star polyp, clove polyp, 4 different types of zoas, ricordea and a pink paly. I also finally got the EcoTech MP10 yesterday. So glad I went this route. This pump is hands down the best I’ve ever used. Here are a few quick pictures I took with my phone. Ill post better ones later this week. Link to comment

dlogfx
So the maker/seller of the PicO Glazer skimmer is having trouble with getting materials to make the skimmer. I really can’t wait any longer so I decided to make my own skimmer based on glazer design. This is what have so far. Still need to get some plastic screws and an air stone to test it out. dlogfx
Looks really good thanks, and the best part is that the total cost of the skimmer was only around $20 Link to comment
