The Habit is yum... but, The Counter is delish. What is with this names of these joints... LOL

There's a "The Counter" in Toluca Lake now too. I haven't been there either. We don't do a lot of burgers so that's what's taking us so long to check these places out!

Those are the Sunny Delights. Very nice pieces. As soon as they color up a little bit more I'm going to frag a couple heads of them.

You have Sunny D's?????? Lucky :) If I don't get rainbows, I'll get those. Or, maybe I'll just get those instead. I like the little glitteryness on their skirts. Yep...think I'm gonna get those instead..next Vivid trip :)

The Counter is like Fudruckers with a healthy kick. Build your own, I usually get the turkey burger and so forth.

Oh you do, do you? Spill the beans.
You said you know someone who has Midas? ... uh huh.

That would be yours truly.

A quick update on my SPS:

I got home today and all three had more polyp extension than I've seen before. Their coloration looks very bright. I looked at the Tricolor and I saw that one of the polyps has grown a little. When I first glued it to the frag plug the end of the polyp was between 1/16" to 1/8" from the plug. The polyp is almost touching now. So either the super glue is moving (unlikely) or my SPS are doing really good and starting to grow a little. I think its the latter.

All of my zoas are coloring up soooo nicely now. The Midas' are getting yellow in the centers again. the Sunny D's are bright orange in the center again. And most impressive, the Sphinx Acan went from being slightly transparent to having solid color and a new streak of green. I really couldn't be happier with how things are turning out now with the new corals and the addition of LEDs. I can't wait for the tank to fill out!

That's so awesome!!!!! I'm getting great results from my LEDs too. I've had all the types of lighting out there, in my career. The LEDs blow them all out of the water...for sure!!!!!

Is it windy up by you?

I was really getting bummed about the zoas losing color. I thought I'd never get the balance of the light cycle figured out. I'm jazzed again!

It was on the commute, but not now. I was expecting worse, really.

The components seem exactly the same as my aqua style kit. It looks like they import the kits and sell at a higher price. You can customize the aqua style kit to your liking. I listed all the substitutions in my led build thread.

The Midas' aren't quite ready for fragging yet. They are coloring up nicely though.

Sorry missed this one... thank you :)

My dear everytime I look over your LED build thread, I am envious and intimidated at the sametime. So this is where the confidence flushes right down the toilet

Just keep reading. In the mean time, get that cheaply soldering iron and some solder and practice tinning wire. Practice makes perfect. I'll look for some old vids I used to learn when I first started. I'll also get you the size and type of solder you should buy.

If you're going to DIY SS, go with aquastyles. There is plenty of proof that it's doable and cheap without sacrificing a lot of quality.

My corals grow faster when I feed. It's pretty cool. I counted 12 babies right now. The baby heads don't have the green centers yet or the dark white striped completely. They're getting there.

I just liked his page on FB. I want one more acan, but it has to be a special one that I really want. I'm willing to pay for the right one. There have been a few on ebay lately that I'm considering. The other acan I have is this one.

New FTS! Disregard the zoas on the sand. I haven't figured out where I want them yet. As a matter of fact, any coral with a plug isn't permanent yet. I'm going to lock down the SPS soon thought, because they are doing pretty good. Tell me what you guys and gals think.
