I packaged the item well and the buyer was very happy (he sent the money order before he even got the item). I just like to think that everybody that is in this hobby is pretty cool or weird (you have to be a little of both to have a successful tank). I hope that people remain cool with each other and that any riff-raff that want to rip people off are kept to a minimum. I have met some really nice people on this website through buying and selling things. No REAL reefer is dishonest with fellow reefers. My tank philosophy: sometimes you eat the reef; and sometimes the reef eats you. Link to comment

Definitely a lesson learned there to ALWAYS use a CC. But I won't condem the seller unless the guy doesn't get his refund or the pump. And IF there is a pump and IF it does show up there's a bunch of folks on here who have simply proven that they're idiots. Seller should have learned a lesson too. First, always insure for the true value. Second, never ship by the cheapest method available. I ALWAYS ship stuff Fedex or UPS and take the hit on the cost because it's worth it to me to avoid crap like this. Link to comment

The only one who lost out was the seller who refunded the buyer and Lost a powerhead in the process. I'f the seller was trying to scam the buyer Why would he make the effort to get back on he and contact him? And explain his situation? Any ways i I read the entire thread And the situation was worked out by the buyer and seller. It's even posted on another forum that I am A member of where the buyer apologizes. Link to comment

Whatever man. Yeah, stuck my nose in their business because what the seller was doing was HIGHLY suspect. In a previous post I listed all the thing he did wrong.Also if he was selling more than one, why use the same pic? Why wouldn't he put them both up for sale? Why have two different pumps (same pic) on sale on at least two different forums? Link to comment
