LittleFishy
Maybe a hair worm? I don't know much about them but i have seen a lot of people with bristle worm problems use big tweezers and bait it with some food. Wait until it comes out a bit and then try to grab it with the tweezers. Link to comment

Euphyllia
Stop scaring me! It's working Euphy. Okay, so if it's a new tank and there is not much in it, you can take out the rocks and try to find the critter. If it's established with corals and fish, it may be difficult. Link to comment
metrokat
No luck, just took out the rock and had it sitting in freezing high salinity water. Then I had it under hot tap water. After that i put super glue in the hole I saw him in. If he's not dead I'm going to be mad. Link to comment

metrokat
Someone suggested it might be a medusa worm. Since I did my freezing then boiling water trick on the rock in question, I have not seen the worm. The coralline I had on the rock is bleaching away though. oh well, thats fine. Link to comment
