claytonfaulkner
So it looks like my tank will be moving in 2 weeks. I moved it into my gf's last weekend and now she has decided to move. moving that damn tank took 2 and a half weeks. I told her that if we break up shes keeping it. Any tips for moving and getting everything setup without too much hassle?? Link to comment
aaron1987
Not sure of your aquarium size... but this is what worked best for me the 5 times i've moved mine. Buy Brute plastic trash cans at your local hardware store, pull LR with coral, etc on them out and put them in the brute with just enough water to cover it (I use 2 for this purpose so neither gets too heavy). Leave sand in the tank with just enough water to cover it. Voila. Fish can go wherever. edit: if you dont feel like setting everything up right away when you get to the new place, just drop a powerhead and heater in the brutes. Link to comment

claytonfaulkner
That was supposed to be two and a half days, not weeks. Seriously is was such a pain. and my sand had gotten disgusting after just 6 months that I rinsed it a few times. It is a nanocube 28. If I leave the sand in it while I am carrying it can the weight of the sand break the glass? Link to comment
