clowe18 Posted August 10, 2011 Share Posted August 10, 2011 getting new bulbs for my t5 fixture.. how should i aclimate my corals to the new lights.. 2 hours for 3 days.. then bumb it up by 2 hours ever 3 days? im also getting moon leds should i be worried when i light aclimate them to the leds? thanks Link to comment
herranton Posted August 10, 2011 Share Posted August 10, 2011 If you are just getting new bulbs for the same fixture, you shouldn't need to acclimate anything. The moonlights wont effect anything either. If you are worried, raise your fixture a couple inches for the first day or two. Link to comment

bensanders Posted August 10, 2011 Share Posted August 10, 2011 You can put something over the tank to shade them, raise the light, reduce the amount of time the lights are on, etc. Do a quick search on google for acclimating corals to new lights Link to comment
