dknydiep
Hey guys, I have 2 par38's, and was wondering how they should be placed since one of them is 3b/2w and the other is 2b/3w. Should I have the one with 3 whites above where most of my coral are, or does it not matter for growth? I'm sure the coral will look better under the 3 blues though, but I'd rather have my nicer coral grow faster. Please let me know if it even makes a difference. These 2 bulbs are over an ADA 60f shallow tank, placed 12" above the water. *Edit Also, how bad is it to have the tank directly beside my pc monitor since the bulbs are at an angle from the wall, and the corner of my eye catches the LED. Would this be bad for my vision long term? Thanks! J Link to comment
cf21
I think the par values are the same for blue or white led's, so placement shouldn't matter. I could be wrong about this, please correct me if I'm wrong. It can't be good for your eyes. I stared at my par38's once and it blinded me for about 5 minutes lol. It would just annoy me more than anything. Link to comment
