icombs17
How can i stop or slow my BTA from overtaking my tank without having any issues with its health. Ive had to move one coral already, it is a red bta and i feed it about once a week. Its prob a good 6" fully opened. How much bigger do they even get? Any feedback will help, thanks. Link to comment
awpong
You serious? Don't take this the wrong way, but you shouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't going to fit in your tank. A BTA can easily grow up to a foot diameter. If you want it to stay small, you can either frag it and give away the clones, or stop feeding it. Although it's not the healthiest choice, BTAs can survive without food. They will not thrive 100% photosynthetically, but they shouldn't wither away and die. Link to comment
ry05coupe
It will only grow to the size of it's tank. JK. Other than not feeding it there aren't too many ways to slow it's growth. Fedding it speeds it up a lot though so I would ease off that for a while. Link to comment
pmoradi2002
Don't feed it. You can also cut it in half. Link to comment
