heres the overflow its black tinted glass so i dont think i need to paint it,

cant silicon it yet as i need to wait for my bits so i can drill in the returns, going with a herbie and the return will split in the overflow from a 1" to two 3/4

woooooo!

do you have all your parts yet?

not yet gunna go out tomoro and get all the pluming still need to get the sump made

im adding blue to my refugium cause its a viewable fuge with a peacock mantis in it so even though its only for macros i still want it to look good and the blue wont negativly effect the macro growth :)

going with a herbie overflow design as u can tell and after the bulkhead the return tapers into a 3/4 then tees off

the new wavemaker arrives, its 3200gph should be enough to keep the water moving down the tank

post-53335-1305065806_thumb.jpg

its about the size of 2 fists, and has directional flow

post-53335-1305065814_thumb.jpg

siliconed the overflow glass on, thie is where it will sit, but i will surround it with rock so it dosent look so "unnatural"

few added updates, ive added in my eggcrate and i got a smoking deal on 80lbs of rock so tomoro ill gopick it up, prolly need to find about 60lbs more maybe another 80 if i find another deal

im still at a stand still thinking of stocking this beast.....i love DF puffers but it limits what else i can have due to their intence bioload, also love lions eels and frogfish lol, also ideas????

ive also decided when we buy our house im going to make a fish room, so no undertank sump, ill plumb in a seperate prolly 70gallon sump/refugium and illhave a partitioned section for my big peacock mantis and another section for a big 5-6" frog fish

That tank is awesome...really really awesome!

I'd get a tiny blue throat trigger

One yellow tang

Two antennata lionfish

Trio of dwarf fuzzies M-F-F

One zebra moray eel

And a larger angler
