bensanders
VERY neat tank. Love the dimensions. Why are you adding blues to your refugium light? Link to comment
Polscot
the tank came with a custom glass low profile top not sure if im going to use it yet but i have it if i want opens enough to feed tapped off the glass to silicon the overflow heres the overflow its black tinted glass so i dont think i need to paint it, cant silicon it yet as i need to wait for my bits so i can drill in the returns, going with a herbie and the return will split in the overflow from a 1" to two 3/4 Link to comment
Polscot
woooooo!do you have all your parts yet? not yet gunna go out tomoro and get all the pluming still need to get the sump made im adding blue to my refugium cause its a viewable fuge with a peacock mantis in it so even though its only for macros i still want it to look good and the blue wont negativly effect the macro growth nice pants and tape haha Link to comment

Polscot
got all the fittings for the plumbing except i need to find pipe and pvc gate valve, apparently HD carrys the fittings but not the pipe...wtf oh well, also picked up some 1" high density foam for the tank to sit on so it self levels, going with a herbie overflow design as u can tell and after the bulkhead the return tapers into a 3/4 then tees off Link to comment
Polscot
lifted it up onto the stand, now all i can do is wait for my sump and all the crap i ordered off ebay Link to comment
Polscot
the new wavemaker arrives, its 3200gph should be enough to keep the water moving down the tank its about the size of 2 fists, and has directional flow siliconed the overflow glass on, thie is where it will sit, but i will surround it with rock so it dosent look so "unnatural" non reef related, just bought this today lol, so i might neglect the thread fora bit Link to comment
