reefer_addict Posted April 17, 2011 Share Posted April 17, 2011 So I see alot of pico tanks lately and ALOT of 3g tanks to. So I resurrected my 3 gallon out of the shed and set it up. I have a dart frog vivarium and a dart frog tad/morph out tank right now so all the "stands" in the house are full. So I put it in my bathroom. So far 3g picotope K1 powerhead 50w heater About 5-7 lbs of lr 10 lbs of black live sand 70w mh (crappy plusrite 14k bulb) I won't be running a filter, and will possibly be running a skimmer 1-2 a week. Will also add some cheoto for a little extra filtration. The plans for the tank are sexy shrimp and sps, along with zoos and the lady wants a hammer so maybe the only lps in there. Just started the tank 2 days ago Pics! Picked up light last night so this is before the light With 70w plusrite 14k bulb. Pretty white for a 14k so will be getting a 20k ushio to replace it. Just turned on On for about 5 mins That's it for now, going to let it do it's thing for another week or 2 before I start stocking it. My bad this is last pic Link to comment
