altolamprologus
Ooh you should make a thread following your baby cleaner shrimp progress I will if they live, which they probably won't. A few have already died off (so i fed them to my clownfish ) Link to comment
altolamprologus
Better keep em alive then! Lol I don't know if you've read other people's attempts but it's d*mn near impossible to keep them alive for any substantial amount of time, let alone getting them to settle. Link to comment
yoshii
Awww That's too bad, but at least it's free food! Link to comment
altolamprologus
Awww That's too bad, but at least it's free food! More importantly, it's free mandarin food. BTW, my pod jars are filling up with pods extremely fast. I already split the culture to a second jar too. I'm going to start searching for the perfect mandarin soon Link to comment

Maybe try gut-loading them with some phyto or something? Awesome Link to comment
altolamprologus
I wonder how nutritious they are, they're so transparent. Maybe try gut-loading them with some phyto or something? Awesome I would assume they would be really nutritious when they first hatch, then quickly lose their nutrition as it gets used up for energy. Even if they aren't super nutritious, the mandarin would be able to eat huge quantities of them. And I was actually already planning on catching a bunch and gut loading them to feed for a couple days after each hatch. Link to comment
yoshii
I hope so I think it would be better to gutload, just in case Link to comment
