And my phyto discs well I dunno. I split for the first time.and a few days later the split(continuing culture) browns out. While the refrigerated culture is fine so I take some from the refrigerated culture grow it out. Split crash.. That sucks they sent you contaminated cultures. If you want some pure pod cultures hit me up. I've never done phyto, but it sounds like your culture is contaminated with a faster growing brown species. Maybe you should try getting a starter culture from a hobbiest instead of using disks. Just a thought I tried a fairy once, stupid thing just kept complaining because it needed air. Last time I buy additives from Disney. I have to know about the fish now, I don't know why... What fish? I don't have any fish. None at all.
