It is 18". I bought it used & that is the book that came with it. I never checked to see if it was correct. It was my favorite of all the skimmers I tried. Skimmate was thick & dark.

However, from observing hers in operation, I think it would be perfectly suitable for that purpose.

BUT 2 of the reflectors are the original 36" reflectors from above kit and 2 of the reflectors are 24" reflectors.

This is because I was trying to set my tank up to have lower light zones on the ends for some Macros.

Comes with only 2 used 36", 39w bulbs- One UVL Indigo Sun and one ATI Blue+

This retro is alrdy wired together and would just need to be installed.
