Silo
Okay, here's a first... well for me anyway. Yesterday I watched one of my large Blue hermits eat one of my Zoanthus polyps, This morning he was back in the same place and two more were partially eaten. I also noticed that most of the yellow polyps were pulled off that same part of the rock and were in the filter floss. I tossed him out. Have you guys ever heard of this happening? Roald. Edelmango
Unless you are committed to cleaning the blue sponge very regularly......ditch it. It will just cause nitrate problems. I just run filter floss in the top of the media rack and change it every couple days. Tank looks sweet. Link to comment

Silo
I switched over to full LED this weekend. They are by Unique and are called Prism. Supposed to be equal to 150MH .... it sure looks like it and the light color is very good too. I'll get some pics of the lighting up here ASAP. Link to comment

Silo
These are the lights I got: http://shop.ledreef.com/ I got one of each, the one with adjustable color and one one without. Hey they had a 20% off sale on all dry goods.... couldn't control myself. I also bought two more BC 29's One with the MH light and one more PC hood version. I'll use the second LED fitting on the new PC tank. I like the way it looks on the first one. Of course now I have no money to get the two new tanks set up Although I have about 40lb of live rock curing and being de-aptasiaed in the one new one, I also have enough sand for at least one of them. I'll set up the MH verion first.... I think. Link to comment
