ctbehm
Going to order my BioCube 29 HQI today but am uncertain what size sand to get. I will be upgrading the return pump with a Rio or Maxi 1200. I will also add a Hydor Koralia Nano 240. I would like sugar sand but am pretty sure that will get blown around. Any suggestions on what size Caribsea live sand to get? Not sure why this is so hard for me to decide on...... Thank you!! Link to comment
Mini-Dude
For the pump I would go MJ. For sand I would do the larger Araggonite. Link to comment

nor_cal_nano
What if you're planning to keep a Pistol shrimp? Would that not suffice? I think you might need more than 1 20lb bag to get a 2" sandbed. Probably more around 30lb. Not positive though... Link to comment
