nanobobsj
I'm on my 5th day of cycle- 12 gallon nano deluxe cube, self contained set-up, which came with (2) 24W 50/50/ compact florescents. Using the live rock and sand for 100% filtration. I obtained @ LFS cured live rock(14 lbs.), Instant Ocean brand reef salt, @ 1/2 in. floor thickness, my water is LFS R/O DI. Parimeters are 78`temp., 1.023 salinity, 8.3 PH. I started getting a little brown algae yesterday(day 4) and today is considerably more..... My question is; is this a good thing? Think I'm on the right path of cycling? Thanks, all suggestions are welcomed with open arms and a smile! Link to comment
seabass
Sounds like diatoms. If so, then that's par for the course. Link to comment
holdorf333
Right path indeed. Sit tight for a few weeks and let nature happen in there. Link to comment
arom
As long as the ammonia is gone, I'd start adding your CUC... Link to comment
