fishnlou
My father seems to think its necessary or a really good idea to run an inline fuse between the LED driver DC output to LEDs encase of some sort of short, shock, etc. I'm using meanwell eln series drivers that have short circuit protection. Is this necesary? Is it a good idea, bad idea? I havent ever seen this done before. Just curious on some of the LED masters thoughts on this. Thanks Link to comment
evilc66
Fuses on the output of LED drivers is pointless IMO. The LEDs will blow long before the fuse would, and that's provided that the built in short circuit protection in the driver fails. Link to comment
