sogreedy23
I recently upgraded to a 20" NEP from a 4x24 FNI w stock bulbs on my 10g aga. I had them on (didnt do actinics first) for about 7 hours. I also used to do a dual photoperiod (4 hours on, 4 hours off as a break, 4 hours on again) 12 hours off. I only have two actinic bulbs in the fixture, so I don't think they'd be too strong as they are just true lumen bulbs. What do you guys think would be a good acclimation for the corals? I'd like to maximize viewing obviously, can watch the tank between 1 and 5 mondays and Wednesday's. What time should the actinics go on, then what time the daylights? For now and after they've acclimated I know this is kind of overkill, but I got a deal that I simply couldn't pass up on. I plan on upgrading to 2 par38 bulbs closer to the summer Thanks in advance!
