gogogo Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 i'm thinking about a 10 gallon with live rock and 1 clown fish. Can I use tap water?

CU_Reefer Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Go with distilled, Wal Mart has about the cheapest its the water the jug with the purple cap. Or try your LFS they may have RO water that you can buy for cheep. Either way you it should only cost you around $7 or $8 for a tank that size. It should be about that much each month for water changes and top offs. It wouldn't be worth it to buy a RO unit for a tank that size.
cerickson Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 It really depends where you are gogogo.. some tap water can be used in areas where it is suitable.
