devonpayne24
I am about 5 weeks in on my tanks cycle. I was wondering if you could add more live sand or if this would be bad for everything..??? Also, what is a good clean up crew member that will eat either diatom or hair algae off the glass Link to comment
jtgordon20
If you add sand. Wash it out with water, I normally do it in the shower, and then soak it through with RO/DI water and then add it. Link to comment
cuog
When adding to a cycled tank, I like to use dry sand instead of live sand. Either way rinse it like stated above. Link to comment
