Green Star Polyps on Back Wall

Has anyone attempted this? I would like to see some pics please? I think it would look sweet swaying all over! Im getting about a 5 inch frag in the mail probably tuesday.

 

Pics and how long it took to grow for you would be great!!!

I saw a pic of it in one of the pico threads. It was a lovely looking thing too. I tried to do this, but my frag fell off the back and went into the limbo of the back of my tank. I will try again with another frag later.

iv done this many times, ether place a frag against the wall (but dont put the top of the gsp on the glass lol) or take a louse frag (with out rock) and use a mag cleaner to hold it in place

bad picture, and the GSP wasnt fully extended but you get the idea. Grows fast too

Thanks, it us cOol looking. I'll guess I'll keep updating this thread once i get mine. My Xenia grows fast so I hope the gsp takes off!!!!!

How long did it take for it to cover the back wall? And how much did you start out with?

My old biocube had yellow polyps all over the back wall. Those grow much faster than GSP, at least for me.

Here's mine. Growing about a 1/4" a week.

Be careful what you ask for. You will end up one day regretting this when it's like the weeds you can't get out of your lawn.
