vresor
I've got one big and a few tiny St. Thomas Mushrooms growing among these beautiful Zoas. I can imagine pulling the rock out into a shallow dish and trying to cut the mushrooms off the rock. Knowing that the base generally gives rise to another mushroom, how likely am I to get them removed completely? Is it possible to scrape the rock clean enough that they won't grow back? Thanks. knives2886
looks neat imo, but id say just cut them off and scrape them away like your talking about. or you can use a dermal and cut away some of the rock its footed on. Link to comment

vresor
Maybe I'm making too much of this. So the process of chipping away the rock won't likely kill the zoas? And the chipped off mushrooms will survive the move? Link to comment
euphoricgear
just cut mushroom from base and let them grow again. When they get too big cut and sell/trade. :-) Link to comment
vresor
My goal here is to move the mushrooms, or at least the big one, to somewhere else and leave the rock to be grown over by the zoas. Link to comment
