Syn74
Hello there. I have a 20 gallon high reef tank and I want to move up to a 75 gallon tank. I have a basic idea what I would need for equpitment, but I am not sure what extras I would need. I currently have a 20h tank with a heater, 40lbs of live rock, a good light, 2 small koralia powerheads, and a HOB filter. I was wondering if someone might be able to give me a list of all the new equipment I would need for up-grading. Or if you might have a link for building one. I just want to make sure I know exactly what I need, and that I do it right. Thank you. Link to comment
mrbigshot
you will need pretty much new everything, bigger powerheads, a bigger light or add a second one, lots more rock, a way bigger heater and lots more sand. thats about the basics. you can reuse your cainstor filter but to be honest you should buy a reef ready 75 (dont drill 75's them there all tempered now) and use your 20h for a sump.
