clowe18 Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 I have have nitrate left in my tank, 10ppm. ammonia and nitrite levels are zero. through my research i read that nitrate leave the tank when it bubbles and turns into a gas. when will i be able to add fish? Link to comment

lakshwadeep Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 Don't worry much about nitrates below 25 ppm, which are safe levels for fish. Nitrate doesn't leave the tank directly, it must be used by organisms (like algae or bacteria). Link to comment
