I just wanted to post my story about what happened.

 

So i purchased 3 Par 30 led bulbs from boostLED.

First id like to say they are awesome and look great.

 

Well literally a few days later i was doing maintanance on my tank (rimless cube) and i knock my light fixture down and it dropped into the tank.....

I get electricuted to a crisp, but i dont care.

I see the lights buzzing and smoking and i am freaking out!

 

I am sooooooooooooo pissssssssed.

 

I take them out dry them as best i can and put all 3 in a large bucket of rice for like 3 days.

Well unfortunately the lights didnt work.

 

Well i sent an email to john at boostled and told him about my story.

He emailed me back promptly and said he would take a look at them and see what he could do.

So i ship them to him.

Well i get an email from John saying that the drivers were fried rice. Litterally, it still had rice in them lol.

Well he ended up replacing all the drivers for me and i just need to pay return shipping.

 

Man was i happy!! I heard that boostled had awesome customer service but man are they awesome.

Im definitely a happy buyer and ill continue to buy from them for now on.

Great story!! I also bought a Par30 light and I'm very happy with the quality and design.

 

Now if we could get a light designed just for all these 40g breeders!! lol

Placed an order for a par30 bulb on friday(5-13) after I talked with john about what color combo to get he recommended I get a 3rb/2cw to run along side my 4rb/1cw since I like my tank a little more blue.

 

I got the bulb today(5-16)...very fast shipping!

 

Let it warm up a bit(chilly here 50* right now), plugged it in and I LOVE IT!!!!! The colors mesh well together,no zebra looking lines, my tank looks beautiful!

I wanted to also comment on the excellent customer service I received from BoostLED. I ordered a PAR30 from them on Sunday, and received my shipment on Wednesday. They had accidentally shipped the wrong lamp, but after a quick email to customer service, they had the right one in the mail to me the same day. I got the correct lamp on Friday, and it looks amazing! I will definitely be ordering from them in the future.
