justjosh
Thought I would start a thread about my other saltwater tank. It is a 20 gallon long with a 20 gallon sump. This was set up as a frag tank for a while with T5 lighting but after I won a par 38 LED bulb from MACNA, I knew things had to change. I try to invest very little in this tank. Rock and sand came from other tanks, had sump laying in closet, I found the stand on the side of the road, and other things I bought used. I have a k2 in there for additional water flow. I built my own screen cover to keep the critters in. Sump has about 50 lbs of live rock and a bunch of chaeto. Also have a tunze 9002 skimmer down there. There are no baffles, just some egg-crate to separate things. Current fish include- Onyx clownfish Yellow watchman goby Three-spot damsel (He's been sentenced to the sump!) Corals/inverts include- Green striped mushroom Brown palys Green zoas blue/aqua zoas Other misc zoas/palys Green goni Peach digitata Acropora GBTA Green rhodactis shroom Galaxia Finger Leather Cabbage leather Torch coral Open Brain Red and White rock flower anemone! I think the fine sand irritated him. Link to comment

andru24
Looking good. That brain is impressive. Is it just the one Par38 bulb? Planning on adding more? or are you happy with the spotlight look?... Link to comment

Planning on adding more? or are you happy with the spotlight look?... Yes, I am using one Par38 bulb. I won this bulb in a raffle, which is why I only have one. Yes, this isn't my main display tank so I am fine with it not being completely full of coral. I don't plan on adding any more. I like the spotlight effect, it adds dimension to the small tank.
