daydreamer
Hi, i'm going to set the litermeter to do a continuous 10 gal water change slowly over the course of a week. Is it okay to dose calcium in the saltwater reservoir so that's doing a water change and dosing the calcium at the same time? I would be using another pump to dose alkalinity separately. Thanks! Urchinhead
Mind that you don't burn out your pumps doing this. I looked into something similar with the GHL and was told by their tech rep not to do it because of pump burnout. Other than that you really should not be dosing something with your water change. Reason being is that you want to have a much more granular level of control over what goes where and your water change isn't the place to do it. Keep it simple and keep it separate. Less chance of cascading failure. Link to comment
