Bluntokian
Too controlling on shipping options IMO. Pointless for someone like me to only order a few pounds. Link to comment
leowrasse101
Yea I actually only need a small 5-10 pound piece as I already have about 40 lbs of "white" rock I got in Hawaii Link to comment
jeff@zina.com
Yea I actually only need a small 5-10 pound piece... Ah, then you want Tampa Bay Saltwater. Shipping live rock is a pain, it's the most expensive part. But if you want those sponges and other life, you have to pay for it. Or find a local reefer who will sell you some. Jeff Link to comment

Bill_68
I'd check out some florida stuff. I just drooled at some in a fishstore in Denver. It had Macro Algae, polyps, and golf ball sized coral colonies on it. All sorts of inverts living on it that I didn't have a clue about. Might want to hold off til spring/summer though ... would suck to have it freeze on you in transit. Link to comment
leowrasse101
yea I definitely would hate for it to freeze do you suppose that heat packs would be enough overnight? Link to comment
