SaltyFlip Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 IMO Power Compacts - Maybe yes, if your light wattage is strong enough (for a 10 gallon, preferably 40watts of light) and your water conditions are constantly stable and clean. Regular Flourescents - No, it will bleach and eventually die if not fed properly. My other suggestion: get a bigger tank or at least get better lights (MH, T5, LED). I'm currently keeping a BTA under LED on a 12JBJ DX which is going to be transfer to a 20L right about next month. Link to comment
Adzski Posted January 9, 2011 Author Share Posted January 9, 2011 @knives2886 to be honest i dont no the exact name i just remember when i bought my first clown he was in the anemone i kind of new at the the whole saltwater thing just starting out but loving it and the lights i have on my tank is a Heto al-18s says it puts out 15watt but converted isnt it like 50-60watt? not sure? @saltyflip on the side of the light says 15watt but i member on the box there was like 75watt but maybe thats converted? you think its enough light?
