Wasabi
I'm putting together a FOWLR tank for my daughter that's 18.1"x9.4"x10.2" (7.5g) and am wondering what to do for circulation? I'll also have a HOB on back, probably an AC50 or 70. Is a MP10 overkill? I've got a leftover Micro-Jet 320 from an earlier tank I had that I might just go with since the MP10 is going to cost me basically as much as the rest of the setup (- the fish/sand/LR). My other option I guess is a Koralia Nano 240. Which route should I go? Thanks for any help. Link to comment

I tried a mp10 in it, but it was overkill. Link to comment
jgpico
I have an ac70 and a hydor pico evo 180 powerhead on my 3 gal. I have the flow on the ac70 turned as low as possible and the pico evo pump turned down a little bit but I like having more than just the flow from the filter. I love the pico evo. Link to comment
Wasabi
Thanks for the replies, OK, I'll skip the MP10 and save the dough. I might also go with a AC50 instead of an AC70. If I do get the Koralia Nano, do I go with a 240 or 425? Link to comment

I have a 6 gallon tank at my office...and I need to buy a powerhead as the AC filter isn't enough... MP10=Hurricane in a pico...not needed Just get a small Koralia...a 240 is more than you need... Canadaeh
Yes I would go for the 240. I have a few in my 28 bow to keep circulation going and no more cyano in my tank. Also added a refugium... Maybe that is what did it. Who knows. You can point the 240 right at coral and it won't blow it away. Def save the mp10 for another build instead. Save your cash now and get some really cool stuff to stock the tank with. Link to comment
