Nano-glo for fuge or something else?

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a nano-glo for my 28G JBJ QuadCF. I searched old posts and lots of references to Stevie's "hang-in" or submersible, but not on his site anymore? Hate to spend $70 or so on a fuge light... any recent discoveries of submersibles that work? Thanks!

i have a nano-glo from JBJ on the back of my NC 12. I think that the performance will decrease overtime, not the light but rather coraline aglae taken over my back chamber and i cant get my hand in there to clean it. really frustrating. but it does work just dont put it in space where your hand cant reach to clean the glass afterward.

Put a razor blade on a stick. You can use aquamend or other putty like you use for corals to attach

I bought the jbj nanoglo for my BC29 and it is a nice alternative to a diy fuge light if you are as lazy as I am.

I've got one for my 24g nano cube and one in an aquaclear 50 converted to a fuge. They're nice lights, but they aren't extremely powerful - 4W of LED light. It's plenty to grow chaeto, but I keep my display tank lights on a fair bit and the fuge macro certainly isn't getting enough light to starve the display algaes completely.

Went to Lowes yesterday and found a 20w xenon puck light for $10. Taped it to the back of the tank. Puts out plenty 'O light! I'll have to keep an eye on the heat in the summer though I suppose. Thanks!
